Technology Assessment

For many financial institutions, there is an unknown as to how well technologies are being utilized; whether the technology costs are below average, average, or exorbitant; whether the technologies are the most appropriate for where the FI is today and where the FI wants to be in the future; how well the IT staff evaluates, implements, and supports technologies; whether the FI has the right IT staff and in the right positions to support the technologies; and, whether the FI has proper policies, governance, and oversight as it relates to IT.

 

To this end, we can perform a full Technology Assessment that will provide the FI with a full report and presentation of all these factors. This process involves a short survey to be filled out by the FI’s employees across departments; on-site interviews of all department heads, executive management, and IT staff; a full review of all technologies, costs, and IT related policies; and a recommended roadmap of improvements and changes over a 3 year period.

 

Based upon the survey, technology listing, policies, and the on-site interviews, we will generate a Final Technology Assessment Report that will include the following sections and information:

  • Employee Survey Results.

  • IT Staff Utilization, Responsiveness, and Support Metrics.

  • Technology Assessment, Utilization, and Cost Analysis.

  • Technology Recommendations.

  • IT Staff Recommendations.

  • IT Policy and Governance Recommendations.

  • Recommended Roadmap of Improvements and Changes

The result of this service will give your FI a solid assessment of technologies, utilization, IT personnel, and roadmap for improvements.

 

This service is offered on a fixed fee basis.
